Acropolis Museum & Ancient Agora Ticket

For the Acropolis Museum, the Acropolis Station (Line 2) is only a short walk from the entrance. For the Ancient Agora, get off at Monastiraki (Line 3) or Thissio (Line 1), both a few minutes' walk from the site gate on Thiseio Square, which is the entrance currently in use.

Routes 24, 40 and 230 stop near the Acropolis Museum, and bus 227 stops in the Monastiraki area, close to the Ancient Agora.

Taxis can drop you at the Acropolis Museum entrance and, for the Ancient Agora, beside Thiseio Square on Apostolou Pavlou Street. Parking in the historic center is very limited, so it's best to park further out and continue by public transport.

This ticket grants entry to the Acropolis Museum's permanent and temporary exhibitions, its top-floor Parthenon Gallery and the excavation site beneath the building, together with access to the Ancient Agora, the Agora Museum and the Temple of Hephaestus. The exhibition on the floor of the Stoa of Attalos and the Church of the Holy Apostles have been closed to the public since 1 November 2025.

The Acropolis Museum is fully accessible, with ramps and elevators throughout. The Ancient Agora includes uneven terrain and is only partially accessible, though the Stoa of Attalos is accessible.
