We enjoyed the tour and the bus ride going. Our guide, Alice, was very thorough and professional. We had plenty of time to see the beautiful temple and have a bite to eat at the local Taverna.
Excellent tour. Great guide with a wonderful depth of knowledge. Tour ran smoothly, on time with clear instructions. Highly recommended

Unique and suggestive experience. Our tour leader Charis was really well organized and entertaining. Fully recommended!
Really nice experience. Beautiful view and the guide Charis was really entertaining and knew a lot about History.
Amazing! Funny and informative guide. The perfect amout of time, too.
The sunset at Sounion was amazing! Definitely recommend!!!
Hop-on Hop-off bus was good once we figured out which buses we were supposed to be on. a little confusing with all the difference buses with the Hop-on Hop-off logos. The buses provided a great chance to catch our breath while still getting to see the sites.
I have nothing but positive things to say about this excursion.
Our tour guide, Sotiris, was absolutely fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable, he offered a personalized, one-on-one experience that made the tour feel very special. He was warm, approachable, and full of engaging stories and anecdotes—sprinkled with just the right amount of humor—which added depth and personality to the entire journey. The bus driver, Takis, was also excellent and contributed to the overall comfort and enjoyment of the trip.
When we arrived at Cape Sounion, we had ample time to explore the Temple of Poseidon. I’d suggest grabbing a bite to eat, checking out the souvenir shop, and using the restrooms before buying your entrance ticket, since the site itself isn’t very large and doesn’t take long to walk through. After exploring, find a good spot to sit and take in the stunning sunset as it casts a golden glow over the Temple and the sea—an unforgettable sight.
Thanks to Sotiris and Takis, this excursion went above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend it—absolutely worth it.
George was friendly, kind and nice guy. Beautiful experience we love it.
Great, very informative and the tour guide (Charalampos) made the ride fun and interesting
This trip was definitely worth it, and strongly recommend it to anyone who is interested in discovering more about Ancient Greek history and mythology, as well as visiting one of the major monuments of the Golden Age of Athens, the Temple of Poseidon. Our guide Charis was a living encyclopedia, making the trip interactive and fun, and truly memorable!
The Sunset at Cape Sounion (Possidon Temple) was great!!! And the Team of
I took the Cape Sounion Tour and went to see the Temple of Poseidon. Guys, that was an amazing experience!! A bit even more impressive than what you can see in Athens (in the city). The trip to the temple is absolutely amazing, winding road that follows the shore. You'll have the see at your right the entire time and numerous little charming towns on your left. On the way there, we've even had a very fun and interactive history lesson. Our guide was Charalampos (Charis) and he was, by far, the most fun, entertaining, and smart guide (and historian) I've ever met. He managed to keep us entertained all the way there and we didn't even notice when the time passed. The entire trip was absolutely amazing and the temple is overwhelmingly beautiful. Not to mention its remote location. Great opportunity for some memorable photos and Insta stories.
The tour leader was a very kind and nice person. Explained a lot about history.
A very good deal. Gorgeous view. A beautiful sunset
To be fair, we didn't have enough time available to hop-on hop-off on the blue bus. But... the on-site rep who dealt with us on the sunset tour, recognised and greeted us a day later at a totally different location in Athens and I think it would have been useful to see stuff we hadn't seen.
We went to Sounion on March 24. The bus is comfortable, but not as in the photo. At the beginning there was a problem with the audio guide, not everyone had enough. More information could be given during the drive to the cape. The sunset is beautiful. I recommend an excursion to see the Athenian Riviera and get an idea of the beaches of Greece.
The first time we hopped on, we had an audio with a clear woman's voice narrating things. The second time, there was no audio at all. It was nice to see the sights, but it may have been nice to hear about the places we drove by. We did not do the Cape Sounion Sunset Tour because it was too late for us. Also, there was a lot of confusion about our tickets. The first time, someone scanned 2 of them, and so those 2 didn't work the next time we hopped on, and we were almost refused 2 of our 4 tickets. Later we realized we probably should have shown him the receipts from the first time, but it wasn't clear, and we didn't think of it.

The bus was not like the picture, no roof to go on top and see, that was the only bad thing. The food at the restaurant, the tour guide and the place were excellent.
I was not aware that it would cost an extra 20 euro per person to enter the site to watch the sunset. Also I was not advised that I needed to keep the ticket provided to use the hop on hop off bus the next day.
Disappointed by the time actually spent at Cape Sounion. By the time we had queued for the toilets and then to buy the entrance ticket that I wasn't aware we needed to pay extra for we had less than an hour at the Temple of Poseidon, and they asked us to leave just before sunset. It was beautiful and peaceful but a lot of money for not much time at the main attraction.
The transportation was comfortable. It was a bit disorganized at the beginning. They did NOT pick up at the 3 locations at the times indicated on our ticket. The first pickup location was at 1630, not 1600. So, we arrived early as suggested and ended up waiting 45+ minutes to board. Then, they allowed others who purchased tickets onsite to board before those with reservations. They didn't go to the 2nd location at all. So, my suggestion is to go to the 1st listed pickup spot so you can get onboard and sit with your party. The audio was subpar. The experience at Cape Sounion was very nice - but the cost of admission is not included.
Bus was very busy and wasn't open air, it would have been cheaper to buy the tickets individually, £60 versus £90
Not having the flexability to change booking details made for wasted money when family crisis happen. I would not book with this company again.
