Highly energetic and entertaining performance and lovely to be drawn into Greek mythology. Stunning setting on the rooftop with the Acropolis right there above the stage and the sun setting during the performance!
It was a perfect evening for fun light theater in the most beautiful setting in Greece. The actors put so much effort into entertaining us throughout. My family of five adults enjoyed this experience so much on this rooftop with perfect weather and spectacular view.

Such a fun thing to enjoy to come to Athens that brought another dimension to our trip. You could see the Acropolis in the background. I brought my children and they were giggling away throughout. Loved it.
Ok so if you are seeking Broadway, why are you in Athens? The birthplace of theatre, and this show, while not in a concrete amphitheatre is in an even better location, a rooftop in Plaka with the lit up Acropolis in the background. The show is minimalistic in set and props and is a sampling of Greek Theatre. 6 mini scenes of the best of the classics...Medea, Prometheus, the Odyssey, and 3 comedies from Aristophanes. I am inclined to think that this is what the ancient masters would have loved! Brought to life by a talented ensemble of performers. Think more "The Complete works of Shakespeare (abridged)" where the show is very funny, a NY tourist is swept into the Greek Classics, and a sampling of the classics, complete with masks is brought into modern times and dayum, is it relevant today...ie wealth! This is a killer show, and a GREAT way to compliment your visit to Athens! And in my heart of hearts I honestly believe Aristophanes would approve and enjoy this as did I.

My husband and I really enjoyed our experience at the Koilon Theatre! The 4 male actors played all roles with costume and mask changes and put on a great show. It was in English and we had no issues with understanding it.
Great experience on rooftop with cool theater play and complementary wine. This group reminds me of our theater group in terms of passion and 'gaffer' production.
It was phenomenal. As someone who has studied greek tragidies and comedies, I found the play very well made, with contemporary alements well balanced with the classical stories and texts. The masks were beautifully made and the back round was breathtaking.
It was really a nice experience. The guys are so sympathetic and with the Akropolis in the background its really magical
Amazing cast and an amazing show! We enjoyed every minute of it!!! We were worried about the language barrier but surprisingly it was in English!

The group are very funny.. the stories are simple and easy to follow and understand, you don't need to know deep methodology to keep up with them..

Five Greek tragedies for the price of one! The 4 players succeed wonderful in telling plausible stories with simple means. We enjoyed the show from start to end.
