Acropolis Museum map with the entrance and highlights
Red numbers mark the galleries and the other points in and around the museum, and the blue E label marks the entrance on Dionysiou Areopagitou; a dashed line means the point sits behind the building.

Acropolis Museum floor plan: the levels in visit order

The plan stacks the museum levels on the building outline, seen from above, and numbers them from the ground floor to the top floor in visit order. The excavation is reached from the entrance courtyard and keeps its own opening hours. Inside, the ticket and information desks lead to the Gallery of the Slopes and its glass floor over the ancient neighbourhood; the Archaic Gallery fills level 1, the restaurant and terrace sit on level 2, and the Parthenon Gallery tops the building on level 3, turned to line up with the temple. Positions are approximate.
